Samsung has officially launched One UI 7, the latest iteration of its Android 15-based custom skin, alongside the Galaxy S25 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, 2025. While the new flagship models come preloaded with the software, older Galaxy devices will receive the update in phases.
Samsung initiated the One UI 7 beta program on December 5, 2024, starting with the Galaxy S24 series in select markets, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea, and India. On March 5, 2025, the beta program was extended to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in India, Korea, the UK, and the US. Later in March, the program will include the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S10 series, and Galaxy A55.
Samsung has confirmed that the stable rollout of One UI 7 will commence in April 2025, with initial availability expected around April 15. The Galaxy S24 series will be the first to receive the update, followed by the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and S23 series. The company has yet to specify an exact release schedule for other models.
